Asa Butterfield answers some questions as he attends the Hugo Q&A session during the 6th International Rome Film Festival on Monday, October 31 in Rome, Italy.

The 14-year-old British actor, who stars in the movie alongside Chloe Moretz, has been earning rave reviews for his portrayal of the orphan living a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station, searching for the answer to a mystery linking the father he recently lost.

Hollywood.com called Asa’s performance “the most magical part of the movie,” adding, “so often it’s difficult to find a child actor who isn’t painfully aware he’s in a movie. A kid who can just act like a kid.” Hugo hits theaters on November 23rd.
